These resources have been created by many specialist organisation's within the field of childhood sexual abuse, from a variety of different sources. We recognise the literature specific to sibling sexual abuse is limited and hard to find at present. We have centralised this information and share these resources to enhance your current knowledge when working with families impacted by sibling sexual abuse. Due to the prevalence of the problem, most professionals such as social workers, therapists, teachers, and other frontline workers, need to be adequately prepared to work with people affected by sibling sexual abuse this includes both children, adult survivors, parents, and other family members. It is imperative to understand the nature and consequences of the abuse, to help those impacted move from despair and distress to hope and healing.
